Menthol is an essential oil derived from a variety of mint plants. Peppermint contains the highest concentration of Menthol. To crystallize menthol oil, manufacturers deep freeze it, which turns it into waxy, dissolvable crystals. This results in a concentrated and convenient way to store and use menthol.

Menthol is intended as an additive and is not intended for use as a single ingredient without dilution. Pure Menthol can cause skin burns and other serious medical conditions. Our menthol comes in its raw crystalline form and has a strong minty scent. This menthol is in crystal form.
